Stories from behind the scenes of one of the craziest professions other than yours.
Many years ago, in the earliest days of DAMN GOOD, the agency was hired to direct a photoshoot for a new swimwear brand.
The studio and photographer were arranged. Props were purchased. The agency was not tasked with arranging models for the shoot, so we arrived at the studio expecting that the client would be bringing their own.
That was not the case. Instead we found the clients, a husband and wife duo who were covered in tattoos and body piercings ready to model for themselves.
To make matters worse, it turned out that their swimwear was actually made of mesh fabric, so when the couple emerged from the dressing room wearing it, absolutely nothing was left to the imagination.
The question remained, however: How do you shoot this?
Today, of course, the agency has amassed a wealth of experience, and knows to ask the right questions. We obsess over every detail of a photoshoot, and take great care to ensure that our clients know exactly what to do, and what to expect.
